What a whirlwind 2012 was!
In the last 365 days, Lark Nest has experienced tremendous growth and bodaciously rewarding jobs, both against a backdrop of the most spectacular clients, colleagues and confederates for whom one could wish!
There have been times — while balancing client jobs with the pursuit of junking/refurbishing along with work for Flea Market Style and the Junk Bonanza, and with teaching classes for Hirshfield’s — that my mental picture had me barely clinging to the neck of a speeding cheetah as it sprinted from task to task.
Exhausting, but in an exhilarating way! (Also a good excuse for why my hair looks the way it does…)
And all of this is to say… I wouldn’t change a thing. (Except, perhaps, to find time to line up professional shots of finished projects, and to find more time to blog!)
I look forward to another great year with Lark Nest, and with all of you, who have helped make this such a sweet enterprise. I am smitten.
Wishing you all that same joy in 2013!
Let the fun begin!
PS Check out the cool lettering that spells out Happy New Year in the vintage graphic up top. Branches! You can always know I will go with the faux!
